Preamble

Effective Date: Immediately upon ratification

WHEREAS

    The Constitution mandates the SSC President to implement programs and projects that will benefit the student body and promote student welfare and development;

    The SSC Presidential authority includes the creation of Ad Hoc Committees to address specific needs and concerns of the student community;

    Students have the right to responsible freedom of speech and expression, which is essential for their intellectual and personal growth;

    There is a need for student awareness regarding university policies, achievements, and activities to foster a more engaged and informed student community;

    The SSC has a responsibility to address student concerns and provide a platform for student voices to be heard and acknowledged;

    An independent student publication is required to serve as a medium for student expression, information dissemination, and community building.
